The beginning of the year is a great time to refocus and make new plans. I’m not usually one for “resolutions”, per se, but I have always liked the idea of renewal and refocus. I also tend to embrace new opportunities. There are a lot of new opportunities on the horizon for Robyn White Photography in the upcoming year, including a studio expansion, news segments, and the 2nd annual calendar contest with Friends of City Dogs Cleveland. But for now I will highlight two mini sessions, both for your furry friends and for yourself.
Mini sessions are a great way to get quick images without the time commitment of a regular session. For the furry friends, you want to make sure they have relatively few fears, as there’s not a lot of time to make them comfortable. Dogs who struggle with walking on wood floors or going up stairs and those with people, light, or sound sensitivity might be better suited for a full session (which I’m happy to schedule as well!). People who struggle getting comfortable in front of a camera or who want a variety of images or outfit changes should also book full sessions.
But if you’re the type who needs something quick and are fine if I make most of the decisions, keep reading!
Once again (for I think the sixth year in a row) I’m offering Valentine’s Day mini sessions!
Although these sessions are promoted as pet sessions, who am I to say who you share your love with? Have a favorite house chicken? Bring them in. Want to share your love with your significant other or child? What a great activity to share with them! The theme is love, so feel free to include whoever you love.
Mini sessions are on Sunday, January 21st and Saturday, January 28th only, but the sets will be up through early February. If you can’t make the mini session dates, contact me to schedule a full session if you want to use the sets. As of this post, there are very few sessions left on January 21st. However, there are several opportunities available for January 27th.
You will receive your images through an online gallery within two weeks of your session. $50 reserves your spot. When you receive your gallery, you’ll then purchase a collection that includes both digital images and a print credit. Collections start at $125.
Ready to book? You can do so here:
A number of friends contacted me over the last month about getting updated headshots. As a result, I decided I’d open sessions for everyone.
Join me on either Sunday, January 28th or Saturday, February 3rd for a quick updated headshot. Need a new image for your LinkedIn profile or Outlook image? These are a great opportunity for that.
These sessions are 15 minutes and cost $100. There will be one backdrop (grey). Within 10 days of your session, you’ll receive an online gallery of images. Your session fee includes one high resolution digital image. Like more than one? You are welcome to purchase additional images from your gallery.

Mini sessions aren’t for everyone. If you have a particular pet or want more variety in your headshot or pet images, visit my main site to inquire about a full session.
I love Mini Sessions. They can be so much fun! I’m doing Valentine’s Day for the first time this year and I can’t wait.w
Robyn, your “favorite house chicken” comment cracked me up! Cleveland is lucky to have you, and I love your Valentine’s Day mini sessions! The information you shared about the pet’s personality and making sure they are a good fit is so important, thank you for adding that!
I have a friend with a house chicken who I am likely going to force to do some sessions with me in the upcoming months!
Your pet mini sessions look like they will be a lot of fun for your four legged clients in the Cleveland area!
Valentine’s Day mini sessions sounds like a fun experience and I love that you open it up to everyone. What a fun and personal touch!
I can’t believe it’s time for Valentine portraits already. Sheesh, last year flew by.
As someone that has always had dogs on stilts, aka greyhounds and borzoi, I really appreciate the stair and hardwood floor warning.
I totally agree with you about the timing thing. The older I get, the more I feel the whole “didn’t I just do that?” scenario. And trust me, the hardwood and stair warning has come from several dogs who’ve had trouble with mini sessions because of that!
The idea of expanding beyond just pet sessions to include anyone you love is brilliant. It adds such a personal touch and makes these mini sessions even more special.
I’m sure it will ultimately be mostly dogs that show up, but I figured it could also be a cute idea for a family or date outing.
The Valentine’s mini sessions look like so much fun! And what a great idea to get some quick fresh headshots taken in the beginning of the year.
Thank you! With the headshots, I got enough people asking for them that I figured now would be a great time to offer them!
These mini sessions look amazing! Wish I could make it to Cleveland!
If you ever find yourself in the area, feel free to look me up!
